Nissan Marine, a leading manufacturer of outboard motors,
announced today that all 2002 and later models of their 4-stroke
line sold in the U.S. and Canada will now be covered by a new
and transferable 3-year limited warranty. The previous
warranty was for two years.
Nissan Marine
offers a full line of compact 4-stroke models ranging
from 30 hp to 4 hp to accommodate a wide range of applications
for both sail and powerboats. “Our 4-strokes have already earned
an enviable reputation for outstanding fuel economy and clean
operation,” said Jim Morgenthaler, GM of Nissan Marine &
Power Products, U.S. & Canadian distributor of Nissan
Outboards. “Now our customers will have one of the best
warranties in the business backing their 4-strokes as well.”
All Nissan
4-strokes exceed the Federal EPA & CARB emission requirements
for the year 2006.
