NISSAN MARINE TO MATCH DEALER DONATIONS
TO AMERICAN RED CROSS

Carrollton, TX, September 9, 2005: Nissan Marine announced Friday that for every dollar donated to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts by its Nissan Marine dealers between September 1 and October 15, 2005, it will match the donation, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $25,000.  Nissan Marine has also offered to donate outboard motors to FEMA.

Hiro Wakabayashi, president of Tohatsu America Corp., the US and Canadian distributor for Nissan Marine, told his dealers, “The recent disaster caused by Hurricane Katrina has left countless people in dire need of our help. In times of great national tragedies such as the unprecedented devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, it is important for everyone to come together and help in any way possible. We strongly believe in the work the American Red Cross is performing in the affected areas and we want to help those affected by Hurricane Katrina in any way we can.”

Nissan Marine encourages every individual to help support the various agencies dedicated to aiding the victims and their families. One such agency, the American Red Cross, has been providing relief to disaster victims for over 100 years and assistance is given free of charge, made possible by your donations. As a non-profit organization led by volunteers, money donated to the American Red Cross goes directly to the people that need your help.  You can find more information and make donations on the American Red Cross website at www.redcross.org.

With your support, we can all make a difference in the lives of everyone affected by this disaster.
