NISSAN MARINE RECEIVES MOTORBOATING MAGAZINE'S 2001 EDITORS' CHOICE AWARD
For New TLDI® Technology
on 50 Hp Outboard

During the recent Miami International Boat Show, Nissan Marine received the coveted “Editors’ Choice Award” from Motorboating Magazine for the new Two-stroke, Low-pressure Direct Injection technology (TLDI®), introduced this past fall in a 50 hp outboard. Products that demonstrated “leading-edge technology in the marine industry” were considered for this award. Winners were chosen based on “innovation, ingenuity and imagination.”

The 50 TLDI® is the first two-stroke 50 hp outboard engine on the market with an air-assisted direct fuel injection system. This makes it the first mid-size motor of its type. The 50 TLDI® offers extremely smooth operation, superior fuel and oil efficiency, outstanding performance, and environmentally friendly compliance with EPA 2006 and CARB regulations through 2007.
